Risk Assessment and E-Learning modules

The DriveSense Risk Assessment has been put together with Advanced Driving Instructors to evaluate the risk each of your drivers pose whilst on the road. Comprising a number of multiple choice questions, these assessments are then validated against industry benchmarks to enable each driver to be classified as: High, Medium or Low risk. This provides the opportunity to offer you accurate advice on further training (if any is required).

DriveSense E-Learning modules

Aligned with the DriveSense Risk Assessment, we know that all drivers benefit from completing our e-learning modules. These provoke driver thought and challenge sometimes ingrained driving preferences, to benefit the driver, other road users and their employer. The modules comprise short, informative videos with questions at the end of each module to check information absorption and retention, and prompt drivers to think.

Licence Checking

Keeping up to date with your fleet drivers’ licences is a necessity. We offer quick and easy licence checking, to remove this administrative burden from our clients.

Post Accident Training

Accidents are part of life. It is how drivers react to them and regain their confidence that is important. This is exactly what these sessions are designed to do. We offer Half or Full Day Post Accident training sessions with one of our specially trained coaches to ensure your fleet drivers are safe and confident when returning to the roads. These sessions look at why/how the accident occurred and focus on the aspects of driving that will ensure the accident doesn’t happen again. After the session, the trainer will write up a report and give the participant a risk level which will be shared with you, their employer. (Here, fuel efficiency training is also included.)

UK Familiarisation Training

These sessions are designed to allow participants who are new to driving or new to driving in the UK to get to know the UK roads, rules and requirements. Signage, speed limits and highway code essentials are just a few areas that will be covered. These sessions and can be either half or full day and are of huge benefit to visiting employees and those from overseas who will be based in UK for a period of time. (Here, fuel efficiency training is also included.)

Winter Training

Thick Fog, Snow, Ice, poor visibility… the list could go on. These are all risk factors posed to drivers when the weather decides to take a turn in the winter months. Our Winter In vehicle training sessions are designed to ensure participants are equipped with the knowledge and skill to be able manoeuvre their way around the risks. From vehicle checks and pre journey tool kits to identifying a skid, this session covers all basis.
